Checking some reviews on TripAdvisor, and discovered that the #1 highest rated restaurant in Myrtle Beach on TA is the "L & G Cafe'" at 509 Broadway Street. I've never heard of this place, and after checking their website http://www.landgcafe.com/, their food options look really good and so do their prices. However, they are only open for breakfast and lunch.

I did a search on the forum here, and it didn't turn up anything. So, I'm curious if anyone has ever eaten there? Patrish? Any other locals?

Scott

Never been to L&G, but sometimes the TripAdvisor reviews are skewed.... there is scuttlebutt that some establishments are prompting visitors to write positive reviews. Against the TA rules, but......

There was one Mom&Pop hotel (Admiral Inn) which was the #1 hotel for awhile. Caused an uproar because the place is aged and has few amenities when compared to the mega-resorts. Everyone has their own standards

Hopefully someone will come along and provide a good in-depth FunBeaches review !

L&G Cafe, Love & Gratitude opened in November of last year and has a good following, it's a small but very cozy place and the food is good and reasonable, you will not be disappointed.

There are so many of these little places tucked into areas and even out on the main roads that folks drive by all the time.
