We tried BurgerFi last night for the first time. We had received a “BOGO Combo” in the mail sometime after they opened. Since there was not an expiration date, we left it in the car, thinking that at some time we would be nearby, getting hungry ,and looking for somewhere to eat. That happened last night.

It is located at 106 Sayebrook Pkwy, in front of the Sayebrook shopping strip mall (Marshall’s, Target, etc.) and across the street from Ruby Tuesday.

I always hate it when the coupon includes the words “plus a drink” because that means I have to choose some soda drink I don’t even want. But this time, a drink could also be beer or wine. I decided right then, this was my kind of restaurant.

Wally ordered Yuengling and I had a Pino Grirgio. They were good, if you can forgive the plastic glasses.

The incdued sides at burger places are usually fries with an extra cost for any other choices. But this place included onion rings as a choice. Wally got the fires and I ordered the onion rings. They were delicious, and as good as any onion rings I’ve ever had.

The burgers were fat, the cheese was good and the “secret sauce” was tasty. The burger was more than I could eat.

Just as we were finishing up, someone came by with tray full of small but delicious soft ice-cream cups, sort of like Dairy Queen but better.

The total cost of all the above since we had a BOGO COMBO offer came to $9.97 (plus #1.05 tax.)

I would go back anytime. The food and wine would have been a great deal. even without the coupon!

It's amazing how many gourmet burger shops are popping up..... and they are all delicious !

Burger Bach in Richmond, VA (beef from New Zealand) and LoKal in Coconut Grove, FL are my current favorites. Next to try is BurgerFi in Myrtle Beach ! :nanner:
