I'm not sure about anyone else, but I love Ocean Garden. The prime rib isn't what you would think you'd get from a Chinese Buffet. The staff is really nice and the guy cutting the prime rib (if he's still there...I've seen him every year since I started going in '03) is really good with the stir fry

I have only eaten there once ( 3 years ago, last time i was at myrtle), but i thought it was a great place to eat. food was good, restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. i plan on going again this year as well.

We really enjoy the Ocean Garden, as well. I started a thread in the "Oriental" section about Ocean Garden a couple of years ago, but there hasn't been much activity.

I go to the beach to eat seafood. The seafood dishes at Ocean Garden are delicious, and very diffferent from your standard "sweet & sour shrimp" dishes that you see at every chinese restaurant.

i wanted to eat here but hubby didnt want to go, we will be going sept and i want to try it......sounds good and a great price.

we ate there again this year, and it was ok, not near the selection, or quality of food. It wasn't bad, but definitely not as good as in the past. I hope it was just a bad night that we were there.

We have only eaten at the Surfside location, (twice in 2009, twice in June 2011 and tonight). My husband really liked it each time as he Loves Seafood and Ocean Garden offers several dishes he hasn't eaten elsewhere. I have liked it the other visits as well, but not as much tonight. There were several of the Chinese dishes that just weren't up to their standard, and the server had a difficult time slicing me a portion of the prime rib and when I tried eating it, I understood why. They have a lot of variety and the lowest buffet price we've seen ($6.99/lunch $11.99/dinner) hopefully it was just a bad night

Funny that I receive an email that the ocean garden post was replied to. My wife's grandparents introduced us to Ocean Gardenabout 10 years ago. Loved it. Now I hear from them today that the cooking staff changed and quality has really decreased. Anyone know of any replacement?
