Was going to add this to the other Prosser's post, but it was in lunch section and we only eat there in the evenings. Keep in mind that they are open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, but only open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings for dinner.

Went to Prosser's again on our trip down. Starting to become an annual stop for us, and food was once again excellent. I think the buffet was priced at $12.95. In my opinion, this is about the best seafood buffet bargain that you can get in the area. It's name says barbecue, but the seafood selection at the buffet is excellent. You won't get the crab legs, but the fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, fried oysters and hush puppies are all there. The country selection at the bar is also great. I would much rather go here for the price than spent $30 at one of the big places. Would recommend the place to anyone.

Is $12.95 the dinner or lunch price? We wanted to go this year, but it was a little far to travel just to go to dinner. We're hoping to go next year.

That is the Thursday-Saturday night price. I've never been at lunch, but have read that it is around $8 for that.

We go to Prosser's occasionally; always excellent and satisfying.

One thing to add: the price also includes sweet tea. If you want a beverage other than sweet tea, it's an extra but reasonable charge.

This was a change from early last year; prior to that, any menu beverage was included with the price. It was an economy thing - but they were very fair to not only make such a change, but to post it for some time in the restaurant advising people why they did it, and the waitstaff was sure to mention it as well.

It's obvious that they care about their customers, and put themselves in the customer's place when considering how they run their business...

I've never tried lunch or breakfast at Prosser's. My son only asked for one meal on our April trip and that was for Prosser's. I'm sure it will be on the agenda when we go back in mid-June.
