This place is located on 17N, a few miles past the flea market (it will be on your LEFT if your going south). It's in between 2 trailer parks. Sits by itself. 2 for about $30.00. $7.00 extra if you want crab legs, and these things are HUGE!!!! We found the food to be very good, and the service was great!!!! So good we went back a second time on our vacation this past Aug. And you can save $4.00 if you clip the coupon. I thnk it was in the small size coupon book. Well worth your money in my opinion!!! 5 stars out of 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol:

* Edit by Patrish. This location is now King Crab Seafood & Country Buffet. Continue to read for more information.)

Between Pirateland and Lakewood, just south of the MB State Park. HTH. :)

When we were in Myrtle Beach in August, we went BACK there, pulled into the parking lot, got out of the car, and then we noticed something. A NAME CHANGE!!!!! Forgot what it's called now. We went in anyway, but we wished we didn't. Food was not nearly as good as last summer when we went. I don't know what happened, but I was sorry to NOT see this place our last trip. B.T.W. The original poster and I are the SAME person. I lost my password a while back, and had to create new I.D. Original, ain't I ???? Yuk yuk yuk!!

We used to eat breakfast there atleast once each trip. We went back last year after the new name change and the breakfast was not as good as it used to be. I can not think of the name either.

Guess I'll let this string run awhile. If somebody remembers the name, let us know.

Yeah, Jeff, I know....you have a split personality! :clown:

Our bungalow is at Pirateland and I'll be down there in a couple of weeks.

If no one has posted the name of this place by then, I'll check it out and post.

It's now the "King Crab Seafood & Country Buffet".

I've also heard and read some absolutely horrible comments about it since the name change - but wasn't very impressed with it myself BEFORE then, either.

Just Google the new name and location - and read various existing reviews of what it would have been like to dine in a 1950's Soviet prisoner camp. That's probably the most accurate comparison I could make...

Thanks, Mike. I edited Jeff's first post to add the name change at the bottom.

I went by King Crab earlier today.

Took a picture that probably best reflects the recent comments and reviews:

We ate here tonight, "King Crab Seafood and Country Buffet", had eaten at this location when it was Farmers Galley. The food was pretty good ( 2 Adults for $29.99 after 5:00 - $26.99 before 5:00 PLUS $10.99 per person for all you can eat Crab Legs) We do not enjoy crab legs, and my husband calls almost all oysters "too seafood tasting" (except his all time favorite Southern Suppers) whatever that means as I do not eat seafood...period. He said the other seafood items he tried were fresh and good. I had a Fried Ckn. Breast a few bites of steak (sirloin, I think) and a BBq rib. they offer many side dishes, we noticed fried green tomatoes and fried squash here, that we hadn't at other buffets. I had some delicious fresh fruit for dessert, strawberries/pineapple/watermelon. I know there are many other larger restaurants of this type in MB but overall for the price, we enjoyed it.
~~~~~Today my husband reminded me that King Crab prices are almost exactly as Southern Suppers are this yr.( with their special BOGO1/2 pricing). I was just thinking that KC - 2 for $29.99 was such a great deal, when actually SS ends up being aprox. $33 for two adults and we'd both much rather eat at SS. :roll:
