For our final night, we drove to Calabash for dinner, shopping, and just the great atmosphere in that little town. We had not selected a restaurant, so I told the girls that we should drive down to the dock and pick one that doesn't have a long line. We've been to Dockside Seafood House and Captain Nance's before, but I don't remember being at Captain John's.

The food was very good and the view was better. Service was top notch, and the place was bright and had a great family feel to it. Misti ordered the crab leg special which came with a salad, baked potato, and hushpuppies. She had four huge claws, and frankly I don't know how she ate it all! Sarah had a Ribeye steak with salad and fries, and I had a seafood platter with fried fish and cold boiled shrimp. We also had a crab dip appetizer. The food was very, very good... but boy did we have a lot of it!

Looks like a great spot!

Thanks for this review, Scott! Looks delicious. I'll keep it in mind when we get up that way!
