You are right, really no reason to drive from one end of the strand to the other to eat. If I stayed in NMB I would not drive to Murrels Inlet unless I just wanted the view. We stay in Surfside and Maggie D's behind the coastal mall is the farthest away that we eat. Could probably find an as good or better Italian place closer but we go because of the early bird.
