Post subject:  Low country boil take out?

When my family had our annual vacation in the Outer Banks this summer, we had a delicious take out from Mulligan's Raw Bar & Grille in Nags Head. It was a fully cooked low county boil in a nice pot that we could use to re-warm it at home. We just booked our next family vacation for Myrtle Beach next June and I am trying to find a restaurant that would have something similar. Something we could pick up, already cooked, and take back to the hotel to eat. I can't think of any place I've been to down there that would have something like this. I'd love to find a restaurant and buy gift certificates for Christmas gifts. Thanks for your help! (we are staying at the Long Bay Resort, but willing to drive down to Murrell's Inlet or up to Calabash)

Here are some possibilities for you. I have added the phone numbers so you can check with them prior to your next vacation. These are all located in the Murrells Inlet - Pawleys Island area. Hope this helps!

Eugene Platts in Cherry Grove used to make them!! I believe you had to give them 24 hours notice though. Give them a call and see if they still do it...let us know!!

How about Berry's Seafood Market on Sea Mountain Highway? Here's a picture of their menu you can check them out on Yelp. Image

Although we usually make our own I have been to two events that they used get carried away for lowcountry boil and they were very, very good. Plus they have many other delicious stuff to chose from! I pick up some of their dips and such for when I have house guest.
