We ended up going here two nights during our stay. We always take advantage of the BOGO 1/2 off on Monday. We arrived around 5:00 and had almost an hour wait (we had a party of 15). I had the captains platter and the wife had a filet. Both were excellent. My brother and his wife had a selection of broiled seafood and they both said it was as good or better as anything that they had eaten on the waterfront. This place has turned into our must have place in MB. Prices are fair and the food has always been good for us. The Captain Platter I had was $18.95 and includes fish, clams, fried oysters, crab cake, shrimp, scallops, and two sides. They bring out sweet hush puppies and some kind of dip before the meal. Both are excellent.

One thing I have noticed though is that the word is out on the place. The place is hidden on HWY 707 and it was still packed on both days that we went and that was with a 5:00 arrival. We had a 1 hour wait on our second visit and that was with a party of 8 on a Thursday night. We even saw a person from our home town coming out, so it's obviously not just a locals place anymore. It's a good value and good food. Even the non seafood selections are good quality. I'm feeding six people every time we go somewhere and it's hard to find a place that all six enjoy, but we get no complaints when picking this place. Just keep it a secret so I don't have to wait any longer. :tongue3:

I would think that you guys do a lot of eating in during tourist season. Even while down during April, Driftwoods had a wait on BOGO 1/2 off night. I just thought it might of been the BOGO thing, but going on Thursday proved me wrong. I guess you have to do a lot of carryout from June-August.
