Searched, but couldn't find any posts about Rockefeller's Raw Bar in North Myrtle. We will be staying nearby this summer in the Windy Hill area, and after looking at the menu at Rockefellers, I'm intrigued. Any reviews?

We're not into raw bars, so I can't comment, but it has a good local reputation.

Based on their menu, only their oysters on the app menu are raw. They have steam pots, fried seafood entrees, steaks, burgers, sandwiches, etc. I think the name is a misnomer... unless I'm missing something.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this place. Misti, Sarah, and I stopped in for Happy Hour last Monday, and it was the perfect fun meal at the perfect time for us. We were looking for a bunch of shrimp, a beer, and a fun atmosphere. We found it, and for a really great price!

Sarah is a fried pickle connoisseur, and said theirs were the best! $4 for a large order. She had beef tips for dinner and really enjoyed them. Misti and ordered their steamed shrimp in garlic butter sauce. Oh my... It was so good that Misti ordered another plate after we had finished eating. We also enjoyed a bowl of She Crab soup, some hushpuppies, and a pitcher of beer. I also had their Oyster Shooter which came out in a shot glass. It is a raw bar, after all...

Total bill came to $61, and we couldn't have been happier with our dinner. This place goes on our permanent list of annual places to visit.

Thanks for the tip! We have driven past this past for years. We will definitely check it out this winter.
