Not sure where to tell you, the Greater Myrtle Beach area is 60 miles and has many thousands of rental properties.

You can't go wrong with any choice of area, all have a different feel.

It all depends upon what your looking to do while here and what kind of budget if any, who's coming, any children and what ages, many factors come into play with your question.

Many places are already booked for the week your thinking about coming, so I would not procrastinate any longer in making a reservation.

Welcome to the board! Great folks who post here, and always good reviews and advice.

We'll be at Myrtle Beach the same week that you are there, and we'll be staying at the Monterey Bay Suites for the 3rd year in a row. Karen (Kish on the boards) recommended the hotel to us, and we fell in love with the place. I posted a review 2 years ago, and update with photos last year. If you haven't chosen a place to stay, you may want to consider Monterey Bay. Here's my review http://www.funbeaches.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12669

Again, welcome to the board and please feel free to post as many questions as you want!

Welcome Jw169! I am sure you will love your first trip to Myrtle Beach! I'll echo what Scott (WVParkfan) said about Monterey Bay Suites. We've stayed there for the last several years and we love it there. My reviews are also in the thread Scott linked to.

Enjoy your first time in Myrtle Beach!

They're from Pittsburgh.
Usually go Ocean City.
First trip to MB.
Think they decided on Marvista in NMB.[/code]

Welcome from another a bit north of the burgh.

I have a terrible problem. Game 4 of the semi finals I will be just arriving at the beach. At least I should be back home for the Cup after the Bruins go down  At least I should only miss the first and maybe the second game.

Fan since the first shift, first shot, first goal!

I have cereal out on a shelf in the garage that is 20+ years old. Had to break it out in 2009. Both of these are still full...

I use to race on a computer racing simulator (very organized and taken very seriously, not just playing a game.) This is the paint scheme I created and used for my computer race car.

How about a picture of my daughter 8 years ago or so...
