Myrtle Beach Message Board

Hi my name is Susan , I'm from Northern Va and we just discovered Myrtle Beach last Sept. after many years of vacationing in Outer Banks and wanting to try something new with more activities for our young son who is now 3. We were drawn to the resorts here as they have great water park features for young kids and there are more activities and amusements for in the evening. We stayed at Compass Cove which we really enjoyed and then went to Litchfield Beach and Golf for part of the week which was also nice. We just returned from our second trip- a short spring break at Dunes Village which was so much fun and great in colder weather with all the indoor waterpark features. We look forward to future visits and exploring more of the area !

Welcome to the board. This is the best place on the net to get MB info. We go to MB for the same reasons. My brother was talking about trying Charleston or Hilton Head and I had to remind him that he had kids that would like MB better. My vacations consist of a lot more than just laying on the beach and MB has everything.

BTW Patrish, that's funny about where your daughter lives-I work in Manassas ,at the local hospital- small world! Oh, how can I attach a picture to my avatar? I can't seem to figure that out .

Click on the User Control Panel Icon in the upper right corner
Then on the left middle of the page click on PROFILE
Then in the same area click EDIT AVATAR
You can then either upload your own pic by adding the URL of your picture (using a photo hosting site) to the link or
click on Local Galler/Display Gallery and pic one of the sites pictures
