Good Afternoon Everyone!!

My name is Teresa and of course I am a newbie.
I have been planning my beach trip since Sept. 2011.
We will be heading down June 3-9 2012.
I am so excited! :ac15[1]:
We haven't been able to make a trip to Myrtle for about 15 years so I know things have changed.

I look forward to chatting with all of you as I know that I have lots and lots of questions.

Welcome to the board. Things have changed, but most of the main attractions are still the same. Fifteen years ago, Broadway at the Beach was really the hot thing, and that is still pretty much the case today. Lot's of places still there and lots of places closed and opened up with a different name. I think it would be pretty exciting getting to see those changes after a long layoff. Hopefully you get to frequent MB more often now. Enjoy your trip.

I so look forward to remembering how things used to be and how they have changed.
The last time we were there was in 1996 right before our 1st child.
Wow, time does really fly because thinking back it sure doesn't seem to have been that long.

Welcome. I'd say in 15 years one of the best things is the change in routes and ease of entering the Grand Strand. I love the new outer highways. There's many things gone and many new things. The feeling, to me, is still the same.
