Hi Gang! Im so glad I found this site. Looks awesome. Exactly what I've been looking for.
Was told about it from a few people on trip advisor.

I'm from Northern VA. Taking wife and son to NMB/Cherry Grove in May for the first time.

As I'm mapping my route in, I discover that my great grandfather and my great granny are burried near some of the roads I will be on. Thompson Cemetery ..and the other one is impossible to find called Bunker Hill Cemetery. Would be nice to make a quick stop to pay respects.. so if anyone knows of Bunker Hill - hit me up! lol.

Can't wait to look around this site. Thanks in advance for the welcome!

Welcome to the board. As you can see. No matter what your question is. People on here will try to find an answer for you.

As you explore this site you'll see a section for meet-ups. Trip isn't complete without dinner or drinks with Patrish, Wally and anybody else in the area that week. We'll be meeting with them sometime on our trip. Maybe by that time you'll feel comfortable enough with us you'll join us.

Thanks pop2748. Looks like a great group of helpful insiders so far. Peaceful too. A lot of other boards seem to have a lot of bickering and at times, down right mean people. This doesn't seem like one of those places. Very informitive and helpful. Must be a "southern thing" :sunny:

Hi Jim, and welcome to the best forum for the Grand Strand. Glad you made it over here. There are some wonderful people who post here and will try to answer any question you have. On a side note, Alan "Pop2748" is the Cherry Grove expert! Be sure to get great info from him on dining/ recreation/ anything else you can think of.

Scott

Welcome to the board, Jim. You will find it is a great bunch of people that love Myrtle Beach. For years we were reluctant to attend a meet-up. Now we have been to two and are hooked. Looking forward to more of your posts.
