Basically the same format except its Pirates instead of Horses. They do have a ship and do some fighting but they also have a scene with mermaids and quit a bit of diving from various high places on the ship. You get alot of food for dinner. Soup,1/2 a chicken, pulled pork ,mashed potatoes , rolls and an apple turnover for dessert. Everyone enjoyed the show.

Eight of us arrived at about 4:30 p.m. for the pre-show and face painting that Vanessa really wanted to have done. The pre-show started at 5:00pm. Vanessa wanted to be a pirate instead of a mermaid. Her make-up was really cool and she was given a pirate hat, sword and earring. There is an additional charge for this.

Two pirates were the hosts of the pre-show in Pirate Village, who led us in song, and taught us appropriate "pirate" language that we would need during the main show. There was a juggler and a couple of other acts which were entertaining. After the show, we were sent to the arena for dinner.

I expected the food to be just ok, but it was much better than expected. It is a large meal, and by the way, you do get a fork, but no other utensils other than napkins. Dinner started with a creamy soup and cheese biscuit, followed by 1/2 a cornish hen, pulled pork (about 1/2 cup) 1/2 a baked potato, and a small ear of corn. Dessert was an apple turn over. The show takes place during dinner and it was little hard to keep an eye on the action while trying to eat!

It was non stop action throughout the show and the physical agility of the actors is awesome. At one point the room gets very dark and a couple of ghosts start floating around the room, followed by skeletons coming up out of the water and down from the ceiling. There were several who came right up to the front row where we were seated. I was a little worried that Vanessa would get freaked out, but rather than be scared, she fought back one of the skeletons in front of us with her own sword! You could tell the actor wasn't quite sure what to do when Vanessa started the sword fight, but he or she played along for a couple minutes. It was so funny! :duel[1]:

Overall we really enjoyed the entire evening and would recommend it if you are looking for a fun show. Here are a few things to be aware of if you go. Be sure to bring cash to tip the server. They take your picture when you first go in, to of course sell them to you once you are seated for dinner. It was a little annoying having these folks come through during the dinner and show. Don't even think of trying to get into the restroom afterward! LOL!
