We will be staying there in late Aug. early Sept and have not been to the very end of Cherry Grove. The pics on VRBO look nice so just hoping it is.

Last month a member stayed in Cherry Grove and put this video together. Great views of Cherry Grove. The marsh in the video will be around in back of Inlet Point. Halfway through the video will be some shots of the inlet facing south. A good view of Inlet Point.

As you can see the building(s) curve around the point. You might have a decent ocean view or a view of inlet/marsh. Either way shouldn't be too bad. Better than looking at roof of neighboring building.

Low tide you'll have the widest beaches in the area. Sometimes some great shelling. At low tide the inlet goes down to a trickle and you can pretty much walk over to Waite's Island to the north. If you do this keep an eye on the inlet. Doesn't take long before it's too deep to get back and you're stuck over there until next low tide.

Might check with life guard about swimming. Always heard the current near mouth of inlet is tricky. Might walk a little bit down the beach to swim just to be safe.

First pier down the beach is a private pier. Belongs to Sea Cabins condo complex. Cherry Grove Pier is open to public a mile or so down the beach.

Keep a running grocery list. Any time you're out in car take the list and stop at store on your way back to condo. Little traffic on Ocean Blvd but at 30-35 mph it take awhile to get to store. Last thing you want to do is get up in morning and realize there isn't any milk.
