We got preferred seats (row 4) for the 2 PM show February 5th 2008. We've never been, and didn't want to be out at night as we don't know the area at all. From what I've read, it looks to be a wonderful show.

If I'm thinking of the right place, Legends in Concert is along Business 17 in Surfside Beach. It's a nice area and you should be fine. Enjoy the show!

Have a great time and be sure to post your review. I am wanting to attend a show there when we make our trip in Oct. Sorry, I can't comment about the location. I haven't been to MB yet.

Which "stars" are performing at Legends?
I've never been to a Legends show.

Their website has a "Show Lineup" feature that can be accessed to show what tributed "stars" are performing in any given time period.

However, the current posting only goes up to Dec 31, 2007 - but advises folks to check back for updates. It should be current well before your performance time:

Looking over the past lineups should give you an idea of who they regularly feature, though.

When I checked The Legends web site today, it was indeed only up through December 2007, so I called. The reservationist I spoke with said after 6 PM tonight they would have their 2008 calendar posted.

When we go (2/5) the following will be there: Elton John, Garth Brooks, Diana Ross, Blues Brothers, and Elvis Presley.

A friend of ours went to the show, and he said you will come out of there absolutely convinced that Elvis Presley is alive and well, that's how good they are.

We've been to Legends more times than any other MB show, and we've never been disappointed with any of the acts.

We've seen several Elvis impersonators over the years at Legends. Some do tributes to the older Elvis in a jump suit wearing rhinestones and sideburns. Others portray a younger, clean cut Elvis of the 50's. Either way, they are all good.

The last time we went the Blues Brothers were not the same ones we had seen in previous years. Someone told us that "our" Blues Brothers were working at the Legends in Las Vegas at that time.

Garth Brooks is the only one I've seen live in concert, and impersonator could fool me, even close up.

I'm sure you'll have a fun afternoon, and I look forward to hearing about it.

Legends is a wonderful show. Have seen it twice. Performers were Garth Brooks,Janet Jackson, Elvis, Lionel Richie, Sting, Alan Jackson, Celine, Stevie Wonder, and the Blues Brothers. Also Aretha Franklin. The one who wasn't real convincing was Celine Dion. Cathy

Thanks for all the information, the show sounds wonderful, we're looking forward to seeing it, and am glad it's in the afternoon. We're not so familiar with the MB/Surfside Beach area that we'd want to be driving around in the evening.

When I went to Branson, we went to Legends and it was the highlight of the whole trip. At least for me. There was Shania, Blues Brothers (which was my favorite) Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson (sang good but looked hideous), and Elvis. Shania looked and sounded just like the real Shania. Upon arrival they took a great picture with us and the Blues Brothers before we were seated and then we could purchase the picture after the show. Does the Legends in MB offer that as well?

Yes, they always take a picture with one or more of the impersonators. They hang them from a wall, and at intermission you can find yours and decided whether you want to purchase it. I can't remember how much it costs, but you get two pictures - one of the entire cast and one of you with one or two cast members.

Thank you Patrish. That is exactly what they did in Branson. If memory serves me correct, I believe the cost was @$20.00.

Just happened to be reading the posts and realized I never posted a report on how we liked the show.

We loved it!!!!! One of the best shows we've ever seens.

Also saw Grand Cirque @ the Palace Theatre at BATB; loved that one, especially loved the mime who provided entertainment between the acts. Wouldn't think anyone could be that funny without saying a word.

MB certainly has some wonderful entertainment venues. Highly recommend The Legends (we haven't seen Dolly Parton's show or Alabama, might give them a shot this winter)
