A must do for that real Carolina feel. Please see the 8th post in my trip report for a complete review including pics. Just a really great, informative, scenic tour!!

After last year's Lighthouse/ Shell Island tour from Georgetown, we are looking for another boat tour. We saw this one, and it's very affordable at only $15 per person. But I wonder if it was worth giving up a couple of hours of precious beach time... since their 90 minute tours start at 11 am and 2pm. What do you think Emmy?

We loved it! It was a quiet day so it was only our family and the Capt.. The river was amazing and we got some beautiful pictures. This is not an active full of movement activity like the shell tour. It is a sit back, relax, listen to the history of the Waccamaw River tour. We love the feel of the "Old South" and this little cruise captured it perfectly. My trip report article about it has been deleted (Thanks Ron :notworthy: ) so I can't show you pics!

Emmy, I looked and looked for River Memories - and for your trip report. I really thought you may have gotten the link wrong. Finally had to leave for appt. and thought when I got home you may have corrected it....if not I was going to call you.

Never thought about Ron's deletions, which he did in error thinking he was deleting something else.

Here's the link:

Feel free to do a short synopsis and put it in the trip report room if you have the time.
