Post subject:  Looking for a hotel for 2 adults

Hi everyone,
Glad to be back on the board...tough times here in New Jersey, but I am focused on planning next year's vacation. Only this time, it is just my husband and myself. We normally book through Grand Strand Resorts for all of us and get a condo, which is perfect. However, I am only finding that there are pretty much only 2 bedroom condos and most of them are not on the beach.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

We are looking to book the 2nd week of july of 2013.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Lynn

You can also try VRBO Vacation Rentals By Owner and search by
Myrtle Beach, SC area and that will put you into all you want....... :beerchug:

I have found that ocean reef is willing to work with you, and has decent prices. They have condo's that are ocean front. check them out.

Grand Strand Resorts is NMB isn't it? If they don't have any 1 bedrooms check with Elliott. They might have largest inventory in NMB.

Just out of curiousity I looked at our regular place at Oceans. Great place for the "empty nest" trips. Looks like entire building is open the second week of July.
One bedrooms I looked at run $960 for that week plus add on fees, taxes and linens if needed.
Any unit ending in -16 will be end unit at south end of building. Windows in all rooms vs being in a tunnel with sliding door at the end.

Elliott site is a breeze to use. Enter one bedroom and oceanfront and hit search. Should show every unit they have in NMB.
