We found a nice condo in Cherry Grove for our vacation. It rents Sunday-Sunday, but we want to go down on Saturday. We would probably arrive by 2:00pm. Any suggestions for a very budget friendly place to stay Saturday night? We don't need anything fancy at all and it could be 2-3 blocks off the ocean, even on 17.

TIA!

I forgot to say it can be anywhere from Cherry Grove down to the southern end of Myrtle.

What is the date & around what price? Everyone has a different opinion on "Budget Friendly" I think.

Location: AZ & VA
Quality Inn 1004 S Ocean Blvd if you don't mind staying on the S end of the beach.

I think you might have to call some to check on prices. I am coming up empty in my search. Either the price is high, they don't have prices online during high season, or the require a minimum amount of nights.

Even places away from the beach are $130 a night. Closest I can get you to your price is Holiday Sands. You would have to call though to see if you can get the price without staying 3 nights.

Your best bet is Ocean Front Hotel who have rooms with No oceanview. Like Street or Pool or obstructed by a building.

I do not like to use Priceline for air reservations as you do not know
what the flights are and could be 3 stop-overs instead of 1 or 2 and
you can't control if it's a layover, how long.

Yet for hotels I have never had an issue, I know a number of folks who
have used the service this past year and were getting $69 a night at the
Sheraton Convention Center, this was not during the season, so it may
be higher.

Just start with a number that you feel comfortable with and you can choose
by star rating or just go economy.
