My husband and I love to go to Myrtle Beach in September. We have been going to a certain small motel but last year it was dirty and smelly and we would rather not return to that one. We are looking for something small, clean, on the beach where we can sit on the balconey or walk down to the beach. Would like onsite parking, and not a parking garage. Don't need a big high rise place just a small 5 to 6 story clean and confortable place for a couple of senior citizens. If you know of such a place I would really like to hear about it. Thanks and see you at the "Beach" :sunny:

While not discussed much on this forum, the Admiral Inn gets good reviews elsewhere.

If you stay there, please do a review !

Good Luck !

Try the Best Western Grand Strand Inn -- it's a small, oceanfront building. We stayed there a couple times and it's really nice - they've built a small indoor pool there now, too. There is a larger building across the street that has the lazy river and outdoor pools you get to use, too. I think breakfast is included.

BEST WESTERN PLUS The Carolinian Beach Resort

This is 8 floors plus 2 others with pool area and front desk, etc.

So its a little bigger then you wanted, but still small. Nice hotel

Have you looked at The Jamacian or St John's Inn? Both are located well. St. John's across the street. It's very quiet and an older place but we found it good for the money. You can use the Caravelle pools and other amenities.
