Hi everyone! I am new to this board. We have never been to Myrtle Beach before, but are thinking of coming for Easter with three young children. We will be flying in, so we will not have a car. Given this information, can everyone please give me recommendations on where to stay? Thank you so much!

hmm...not having a car...I'd probably suggest somewhere along the boardwalk area so you'll have some entertainment and dining options - hopefully someone can give you a recommendation!

Myrtle Beach is not the greatest city to be without a car. You will still have a great time, but attractions outside of the beach are pretty spread out. I would think the boardwalk area would be pretty good. We stayed at the Dayton House one night and that area looked like you might could find some activities without needing transportation.

I would find a place that had a nice indoor water park. The ocean will probably be too cold that early in the season. Also, the Dayton House does not have a water park, so I wouldn't stay there during Easter if that's what you want.

Hi! Thanks for choosing to join our message board.

I agree that if you won't have a car, the area around the Boardwalk would at least offer plenty of activities. Here's a link to hotels near the Boardwalk. If you have questions about any of them, please come back here and ask.

Sometimes a taxi is the best way to get around without a car, and I'm sure you'll want to see more than just the area where you stay. There's also a bus service that offers pickup/delivery at both ends of the Boardwalk. See the web site for more information.
