This was our 1st trip back to the Coral Beach in about 5 years. We like the Coral Beach. It is certainly not fancy but we have always been happy with the rooms...we had an OF family suite...it had a separate bedroom(2 queen beds...a galley kitchen...bathroom...living room(with a murphy bed)...loveseat & chair...small table...with 4 chairs...2 TV's...an the OF balcony....balcony had 2 chairs and small table...the room was clean...the kitchen had all the basics...but it took us a while to find the silverware...not in drawers but on a high cupboard shelf...

We asked the cleaning staff to please clean our room in the pm because Terry likes to sleep in and they did this every day...no problem...we had plenty of towels every day and the staff at the resort is very friendly and helpful...no problems with anyone...the pools were clean...there is security walking around...we saw several people being asked to not smoke in the pool areas...also, saw a person who was talking on a cell phone using not nice language being asked politely to talk elsewhere...

there were many families here...the pool areas are GREAT for kids...and really most folks were supervising their children...

We enjoy the evning activities at the resort...kids and adult karaoke...bands...if we were in our room with the balcony door shut...we could not hear the music...they always stopped around 11pm...we were in room 510...it might be louder on lower floors...

So it was a very good stay...and woohoo...I get 2 beach trips in one summer...I am a happy girl :sunny:

Thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed report. It sounds like an great place to stay, and you hit on the things people really want to know about - cleanliness, housekeeping, pools, noise, etc. Glad you had such a good time.

You are welcome, Patrish! We had forgotten how nice it can be to stay OF at a hotel...cottages are nice but hotels do have nice amenities...we will likely be back next June with granddaughter in tow...she will be 4 yrs then and more ready to leave Mommy and Daddy for a week...

JoAnn
