Need to kill a couple of hours with the kids (5 and 7) while my wife gets a spa treatment…Victoria Dianne’s, downtown MB – 413 W. Broadway St.…I was thinking of just heading over BOTB and maybe hanging out at Celebrations: Broadway Louie’s. An arcade would be something my kids would like (me too) and it’s not something my wife would normally be into…so its not something she is going to be disappointed if we did without her.

So, is Broadway Louie’s really as “family friendly” as their web site claims (yet doesn’t really look to be) and would it be age appropriate for a 5 and 7 year old…not to mention a 40 year old?

Baring this idea, are their any other worthwhile arcades in the area?

Thanks

I remember Broadway Louies as being a bar atmosphere. But, I was always there at night....I don't think it would be the same during the day. There may be some more "kid friendly" places you could go if taking your kids into an arcade with a bar in the middle of it doesn't suit you!

Thanks…The bar part itself doesn’t really bother me …it’s more the “vibe” and atmosphere…like I say from the look from the web site and your confirmation, if this was 8:00 at night, I don't think I would even consider taking the kids…

Several of the Pavilion rides were moved to Broadway at the Beach. This includes the arcade:

Dragon's Lair (mini golf) is a lot of fun for adults and kids, and it's also at Broadway the the Beach.

I would recommend IMAX 3D. The shows are very good for both adults and children.

Hope this helps.

The Nascar Cafe or now Nascar Grille has an arcade inside it. Also in the other building behind the restaurant where the entrance to the speedpark is there is an arcade. Cathy
