Didn't see a topic for this, but wanted to write a quick note. We took the kids out on the banana boats that were launching in front of Beach Cove Resort. I did not get the name of the company, I wish I would have. Class act operation. The jet ski operators were amazing, really took care of us, made sure we were all still hanging on and not flopping in the ocean like fish :hysterical: and gave us a great ride. It was $20 a person and was worth every penny. My husband and I hadn't done ridden one in years. He was super sketchy about letting our youngest who is 10 go, he tends to be the one that always gets hurt LOL, but we did and are so glad we did. All four of us had a blast and it was by far the best activity we did. The kids were still talking about it when we got home.
In addition, although it is a huge money grab and stupid expensive, if you have the extra cash, my hubby took the boys on the jet boat ride thingy at Broadway at the Beach. It was about a 10 minute ride and cost something like $60 for the 3 of them to do, but they had a blast and said it was a cool rush.

It was probably Downwind Sails Watersports.(?) Glad you had great time and thanks for letting everyone know about your experience.

We have watched those jet boat ride at Broadway at the Beach, but have never heard from anyone who has done them.

Sounds like y'all had a great time!

I think I would have to spend some serious time drinking before I got on one of those, too! :beerchug:
