I'm trying to find out what event is going on at Lakewood Campground with all the horses?

Today when I went out, campers and horse trailers (with horses) were lined up to get in to Lakewood. LOTS of them. I've tried their website but I can't find an event.

If they are going to be riding on the beach I want to take my camera down and see if I can get pics!

I LOVE horses!

Anyone know what's going on?

I usually try to get to Myrtle Beach State Park and get some pictures when the horses are riding to support the American Heart Association. The riders are a really friendly bunch of people and they are usually happy when someone wants to take their pictures. Here's the link:

Thanks!

I guess with you taking pics at Myrtle Beach State Park they ride north from Lakewood. This will have them going right past Pirateland so I should be able to get some pics from here as well.

I worked for the Heart Association until I retired in July back home... I had heard of this event but never thought I'd be able to 'see' it.

Thanks for the info! Looks like they raise a LOT of money for the cause!
