Danny & I rode the Sky Wheel this year! :nanner: :nanner: :nanner: I am terribly afraid of heights but was determined to ride it since I have heard so many that were afraid say it was not as bad as they thought. I did real well until they started adding people after the first rotation. The “cabins” started swaying/rocking slightly and that kinda freaked me out! :ohnoes: I got used to it and by the end of the ride I was fine. Danny said the movement was much less than a regular Farris wheel (I wouldn’t know… I’ve never rode one…. Too chicken!) It was an absolutely LOVELY view and well worth the $26 (for the both of us). The views of the ocean, the city and the boulevard were incredible! :hello: I would recommend it for anyone not afraid of heights (you are pretty high up there) unless you are just determined to ride it (like I was!).

Karen, glad you and Danny enjoyed the SkyWheel The views are spectacular and I think the ride is well worth the price. The views of the city and the ocean are spectacular.

Pat and I have ridden the Skywheel twice, the last time was when our 17 year old granddaughter was with us. I hate heights, but I could not scream like a little girl in front of her.

So glad you enjoyed the SkyWheel. Everyone should do it at least once.
