One word... AWESOME! :nanner:

Since we've been fortunate to get us a little place down here, I now get to stay for extended periods of time. Needless to say... this means I need my acrylic nails touched up.

Mom and I both were needing ours done but had no idea where to go. Now, I'll admit I'm a bit of a nail 'snob'... I am freaky about the cleanliness of shops and didn't want to just go somewhere because they had a sign up that said 'Nails'. Some places advertised nails and tattoos - LOL - well needless to say those places were out.

I was trying to think of where I'd fine a nice, safe, clean shop and the light bulb went off - Market Common! I'll see if there's a nail shop there. I figured with the upscale feel of Market Common, my chance of finding a nice, clean and reputable salon were good... and boy was I NOT disappointed!!!!

This place is awesome! I've been having my nails done for about 20 years and I will say that this place is #1 in my book - and the prices for services are cheaper than back home! I couldn't believe that.

Jenny and Justin run the shop. They offer you a beverage when you arrive - ANYTHING you would like... water, soda, glass of wine, cocktail!! Can you believe that??!!

This is not a place to go if you are in a hurry. They take their time, are meticulous and you get a full spa treatment on something just as simple as a fill-in. Back home, I feel like cattle being herded in and out as fast as they can churn you through. Not here!

I made my second trip back this week to get a fill and a pedicure. The pedicure was pure heaven! OHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Myyyyyyyyy! Need I say more? :angel7:

I had a fill-in and pedicure and the total charge before tip was under $45. Mom's fill and fixing a nail she had broken was under $25. I tipped LARGE since the prices were so reasonable.

If you're down at the beach and need nails done or fixed... or if you want to treat yourself, I can't say enough about this wonderful place! :cheerleader:
