The Farmers' Market at The Market Common is open every Sat. through Sept. 24th from 10 - 3. We're enjoying locally-grown produce at home this week. Free parking in the garage or on the street. Just another reason we love living here.

I may have to venture over there Saturday if I can think of some produce we need for the week.

Thank you again Patrish for bringing this to my attention just before our vacation. On July 2nd my father in law, brother in law and I made the trip to see what all was available. We made quite the haul, picking up 2 loaves of bread, a quart of blueberries, corn, a huge watermelon for $3, cantalope, tomatoes and peppers from various vendors. We also picked up some cinnamon rolls from Sweet Cheeks that were very good, and some soap, and shave soap from Bolla Botanicals.

The only one I didnt pick something up from that I really regret was not buying something from Jupiter Pies. Everything those ladies had looked great but I wasnt sure I could get a danish back in tact to the camper.

Looks awesome ! Saw the "Copyright Funbeaches.com" watermark on the cinnamon roll vendor's banner and for a second it looked like Patrish was selling homemade cinnamon rolls !

Is there anything Patrish doesn't do ? You and Wally should run as mayor of MB ! :nanner:  :nanner:

Michael, so glad you made it to the Market Common’s Farmers’ Market and that you enjoyed the experience. Those $3. watermelons are the best I’ve tasted all summer!

Kirk, LOL! There are a lot of things I don’t do. Or at least I don’t do them well. Cooking and baking are a couple of them. I said to Wally not long ago that 4 photos out of 5 show me with a band-aid on any given finger because I am such a klutz when I pick up a knife. (But I am intimately familiar with HTML and web design. Does that make up for it??)

Tofino's has a wonderful bakery. It's also good for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
http://www.toffinositalian.com/

But go to the Farmers' Market too. Lots to choose from and friendly vendors!
