We have an umbrella as well that we will use if its just my husband and I , but if we have more people we always use the canopy ..... it is much more room for all of us .

I too love seeing the colors and rows of umbrellas and canopies but the past few years we had been over crowded with the canopies behind us. They had been right against our umbrella (that we rented) and we would have to go under their canopy in order to go back to hotel or pool area. And then we would get remarks for invading their space. So last year we didn't rent and would just go to the ocean and sit for a while and then go back to the pool. Myself (call me lazy lol) but I find it a lot of work to put the canopies up and then have to take them down and drag them back to the room. When I come down for vacation, I don't come to do any work. lol

Are they enforcing the new tent rules? Please tell me yes.

I must say the new tent rules have made the beach a 1000 times more pleasurable this year than last!!!!!
