Just wondering if anyone has made the trek from central Ohio in the past few weeks. Wondering how much construction is taking place and in what areas. Thanks for any help that someone might be able to give us. We are getting so antsy to get in the car and go! This happens every time we visit MB! Love it!! :nanner:

Took the 80/90 to I-77 south a couple weeks ago - the most construction was in Ohio. There was a little bit in WVa and VA, but no delays or back ups. Even the tunnels are all wide open! We hit some backup around Statesville, NC - construction and race week traffic going down, but it was fine coming back up there. Shouldn't have too many problems! Have fun!!

I know free time is always elusive when you're at the beach, but would love to see you if you get any free time:

Road work through Charleston at night. Smooth sailing during the day.
The other day someone mentioned a never ending work zone on the Turnpike but haven't heard any horror stories of back-ups.
