There are two way to add a photo or avatar to your profile.
(1.) You can choose from the list of avatars that are available on this message board (see Gallery at the bottom of your Profile page) I have updated many of these Gallery Avatars, and I think you'll recognize local pictures!
(2.) You can link to a photo/avatar from an external web site.

If you need help adjusting the size of your picture,
Help is HERE.

Please do not post photos directly onto the message board. Instead, post the link to your own album - see The Adm. Rules for more information

You have several options for having your own on-line photo album. They are available free or for a fee. If you are simply looking for an album where you can load your photos, free may suit you just fine. What's the difference? Free websites may make money by placing advertising near your photos or limit the size of pictures. Sometimes a free website will require you to buy prints, or they may request people to register in order to view your photos. With the pay-for photo albums, you can usually add large pictures, receive support, and use ad-free space. Some photo albums offer free and pay, so you can use both from the same account. Here are some suggestions in no particular order:

Web Shots
Yahoo! Photos
My Photo Album
Album Town
Kodak Gallery

If you have a photo on your album (thumbnail size) you can link to that location from your profile. Just copy and paste the entire string into the "Link to off-site Avatar" box.

AVATAR SIZE: All images should be small enough so they do not deform tables or distract people. Anything too big will force the page into an unacceptable width and the avatar will be deleted by an Administrator. This policy will be strictly enforced. The absolute largest avatar acceptable for this forum is 130 pixels wide by 121 pixels deep. (That's 1.8 inches wide x 1.65 inches deep.) This applies to a picture that is 72 DPI. If your camera is set to a higher resolution you will need to make the picture smaller to conform to the correct size. You can compare the size with others on this board "by eye" or by holding a tape measure up to the picture on your monitor. If it looks too big, it probably is. If all else fails, send me a PM. I will fix the photo for you and send it back for you to load into your profile.

ARE YOUR PHOTOS TOO LARGE? Here are two free links where you can change the size of your photo online. Download the photo you want to use from your online album. Size it correctly, then upload it to your photo album and link it to your Profile from there.

If the above instructions don't work for you, all is not lost. E-mail your photo to:
I will size your photo correctly and return it to you.

TICKERS: - for the bottom of your profile
Here are some links where you can find a ticker. Once you select your design and text, be sure to choose bbCode (not HTML), then copy and paste the code into the Signature box found in your profile (see Profile at the top of this page/)
IDO Tickers:
You can enter Myrtle Beach instead of the selected islands and choose from any design on this Caribbean page:
