I was watching a MB vacation video/vlog (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIj7oeFDtqs) on YouTube from The Adventures of Peas and Carrots! and they noticed the dragon tower at Dragon's Lair mini-golf had been demolished. They mentioned one of the courses was still functional, but the second was closed.

I was able to find a bit of information on Google about it: http://www.wmbfnews.com/story/35665804/ ... -the-beach
According to Lei Gainer, a spokesperson for Burroughs and Chapin, which owns Broadway at the Beach, a portion of Dragon’s Lair Fantasy Golf Course is being removed “to accommodate future offerings." Those tenants will be announced once everything is finalized, according to Gainer. She added that Dragon’s Lair is open daily, with 18 holes of miniature golf available for play.

What a bummer. I loved that dragon!

Definition of Lair: a wild animal's resting place

How fitting. May the dragon live peacefully in the ever after.
Wonder if the dragon will haunt new tenants?

I'll miss the dragon, but he seems to not have worked right these past several years. I remember the days you could hear him and he would spit fire. Oh well, progress I guess. New offerings gives you a reason to come back and visit.

I figured they would try and keep the dragon in some way. It was one of the few trademarks left at BATB. Oh well, hopefully progress is better than some of the overhaul that was made a few years ago. Not many left.

So many changes at BAB! Had lunch the other day at Dave & Busters and would not recognize that street had I not known where I was.
