Vacation prep stresses me out :???: ! Been packed and ready to go, but still so much to do before we leave! @ 5AM this morning, I was canning pickled beets, and right now I have tomatoes on the stove in the pressure canner!! Once they're done, need to mow the lawn, do the trimming, clean doggie poop :ohnoes: ! Just so much that needs to be done, but at least the vehicle is vacuumed, washed, and waxed :rastanana: :bounce: ! Leaving bright and early Saturday morning and spending a night in Rocky Mount on the way down!!! So excited, I may wet myself :clown:

How exciting!! Enjoy your trip! At least having some things to do must make the time go faster, right?

Drive safe, if you get caught in traffic/delays near DC, you always have a place to stay ! (though we are on the eastern side of DC in Annapolis)

Looking forward to the report and tons of pics !

Safe travels. This is the first year I didnt' stress myself out for once. I didnt extra clean the house, I thru some clothes in suitcase, didnt care if I forgot anything, like a favorie shirt or pair of pants. Don't care cause I'm PUFO. Told Rich this stands for Pale ,ugly, fat and old. Didnt buy food or anything , get it when we get there. Just need one of my meds(to survive)

Of course our drive is 12 to 13 hrs unlike yours. Leaving at 4 am. Rich is here at kitchen table looking stressed. Dreading the drive, I offer to drive but we''ll see if he lets me. I tell him once we get out of Pittsburgh Ill take over for an hr or two. I love driving the hills in West Va and Va.

See you soon. :nanner:

Safe travels to you also Cathy!! We'll drive for around 12 hours tomorrow, and that will leave about 4 hours Sunday! Like you, the most important thing is my medicine, which is all packed except for my Victoza! Next thing is getting to sleep tonight

Safe travels for all heading toward the beach tomorrow. May time slow down just a little next week to let you enjoy your time at the beach.

Enjoy your trips everyone! Temps are cool and sunny here in SE Ohio...so traveling through West Virginia should be comfortable...hoping you all have great weather at the beach!
