Hmmm.... What other issues would be introduced by increasing the feral cat population ? And won't the cats just start eating the trash instead of rats, snakes, etc ? (yes, definitely a gross subject)

"Surfside beach is also looking to deal with the trash issues, which they say is the reason the rats are in town."

Getting rid of the trash (I know, extra expense....) seems the best way to address the root cause of the issue without creating additional problems down the road.

This seems like an problem I had with my boat recently.... :pirat: I had a small leak, and we all know the goal of boating is to keep the water outside the boat. The Surfside government would propose I just install a bigger bilge pump to deal with it. :BandHead: I prefer to stop the leak......

That sounds like a reasonable thing to do...I know my sister lives in Moon Twp., PA...she said they have feral cats living in the wooded areas behind their home...There is a group that comes to feed them...and as a result there are no rats or other vermin that they have observed...
