Another option is to review happy hours.... even if you aren't interested in drink specials, there are frequently good food deals (though many are limited to appetizers).

And... another tip is to get To-Go orders off the less expensive lunch-time menus and bring back to the condo for dinners. We did this frequently from the Sea Captains... the lunch portions are very substantial and much cheaper than the dinner menu.

Villa Romana is as good as ever!

I would also suggest something like wild wings cafe or bummz. For pizza we love love love pizza a la roma - awesome calzones and great staff.

Sure, it's old school, but the K&W cafeteria is great for the money. I love the chicken pan pie. Also, we usually visit a River City Cafe early in the week for a reasonably priced meal. Sometimes we eat there twice that week.

Y'all are awesome! I'm going to start putting these on a list. We have an 8 year old who will eat anything (and she's SO skinny!), a 6 year old by who is built like a tank and is the pickiest ever, and a 2 year old who eats everything in sight one day, and only Rainbow Goldfish the next. We'll only be eating out once a day, and doing other meals at the condo. I like the idea of getting lunch meals to go to eat for dinner. Pizza is always on the menu too. When we went years ago, my husband stayed at home. So this time, I'm going to give him a list and let him pick. Prosser's for sure, probably a day after Huntington Beach SP!

I agree with River City Cafe too. Last yesterday was the first time we ate there and it was really good! There are many locations and didn't seem as "unique" if you will (we always try to eat at places only MB has to offer) but it was very delicious and reasonably priced.

Thanks for the tip. My crew loves Mexican food and these type of places normally end up costing way less than other options. Will have to try the one in Surfside.

I second River City Cafe and K&W! I didn't think I'd like K&W, but it's actually pretty neat, and super cheap!
