I know it is completely impossible to know what the weather will be like but I am hoping someone can help me out. We will be in MB April 27-May 3. We've been to MB many times but never with toddlers and never this time of year. What is the beach/ocean typically like? Our hotel will have plenty of pools to enjoy but I'm curious about down on the beach. And any tips about the beach with toddlers would be much appreciated :dontknow: Thank you!

Ironically that's the week we went last year and with my 2 year old! (Turned two the week before we left).

That particular week was cold, however I don't think that's always typical. We had rain almost everyday (still beats being at home!) the ocean was too cold, but swimming pools were fine. We needed small sweatshirts on the cooler days. It was nice for a toddler (and then me being 5 months pregnant too!)

Nolan really liked alligator adventure for an activity. If it's rainy the children's museum is a good option. It's not the biggest or best one we have been to, but still a good activity. Nolan also liked walking around Broadway at the beach - he would chase ducks and stuff like that haha

That week could also be one of the most gorgeous weeks of the year.

We tend to go to MB in one of the first two weeks in April. As such, I am looking at the weather there a couple weeks before. I have seen any of the weeks from late March on, be sunny and 70's. Really nice weather with spring busting out all over the MB area.

That said, I have also experienced cooler weeks - 50's and rain during our week in April.

This year, we have the 3rd week of April for your trip, and we are really hoping for great weather, obviously.

The end of April/first of May can be a gorgeous time. Not too hot like summer, pleasant evenings, aromatic spring environment.
