If it's cool/rainy what are some things to do with small kids? Unfortunately our condo doesn't offer an indoor pool!

The aquarium at BATB is what we've done. Or drive around and find someplace it isn't raining - we'll usually head up to Callahan's or down to MI and get a drink at CreekRatz. (sorry, not good for little kids, but you get my point...lol...)

Lots of people do the aquarium on rainy days, so expect a large crowd if you go. It is a great out of the rain feature, but it's a small aquarium so expect a lot of people in one area. We usually just shop on rain days. Figure we will do a little shopping anyway, so rain days are a good time to get it in. Once again crowds will be heavier at the shopping centers also. Everyone in Mb is looking to get out of the rain, so everyone usually has the same ideas.

Thanks for the suggestions! Are there any indoor water parks around?

The only indoor water park in the area is at Dunes Village Resort. So unless you've reserved a room there, you can't use it. We've been in Myrtle when the weather is less than cooperative. Our 8 year old is super hyper and begs to be entertained. We did the indoor miniature golf thing which proved to be a waste of money. Shopping isn't good for the kids u less you're buying them junk to keep them quiet. Movies are a decent idea. MagiQuest is pretty cool but can be pricey. Both Wonderworks and the Aquarium are great but if it rains, you'll hate it. You won't even be able to move. I've never been to the Children's Museum but I'd give it a shot. Chances are though, I'd have more fun than my kid. I'm weird like that.

Absolutely. Darting from store to arcade to restaurant on the Boardwalk is a great way to spend a rainy day. We love the Fun Plaza arcade with those classic Baseball Games!
