Is there one around MB? I looked online and found one at Barefoot Landing, but the cookie company website doesn't show that location. We will have a birthday while at the beach so i'm looking for a cookie cake and they have the best!!

I beg to differ. Believe it or not, Sam's Club has the best cookie cake and about half the price!!

Maybe it is closed now, I seem to remember one at Inlet Square Mall but it also is closed.

As for Sam's being better, I don't doubt it is half the price and I would not be surprised if the ingredient list is 4 times longer than from a bakery/cookie/cupcake shop.

How about picking one up before you get to MB? Depending which way you arrive...Both Florence, SC and Wilmington, NC have them.

Costal Grand Mall and Myrtle Beach Mall has a Mrs. Fields and they have Cookie Cakes.

That may be true about the recipe, Gary. BUT, I'll still rub it all over my face like a fat kid would!!!

Krogers makes an excellent "big cookie" (i.e. cookie cake). They are made to order in the baking shop, and we get one every year for the Super Bowl. There are several Krogers in the Myrtle Beach area, and they only need about a day's notice to custom-bake anything you want.

I know some folks do not care, yet just to be clear, grocery stores do not make cakes, cookies or anything on site, it all comes in frozen and they "finish baking" it in the oven or just thaw out and decorate, depending upon the product.

I know this will break some people's heart who have always thought they were getting fresh baked goods at the grocery store.

Another little thing to know, the chicken is not breaded on site, it also comes in frozen and breaded, then fried on site. And of course that breading has a list of ingredients that is a lot more than flour and spices :)

phroggy it is meat, and a bunch of other stuff :)

I get a kick out of the Stouffer's ads for a good home cooked meal and kids are better off with dinner with the family and a home cooked meal.

This is the new home cooked meal, straight from the freezer to your table and folks wonder why we have an obesity epidemic and the health of our citizens is going down, it's lack of nutrition.

So we supplement with pills the we can't digest and eliminate from our bodies almost whole and what does break down is not absorbed into our cells.

It's all about the money!
