Hi all, I just found out that as of November 2017, Rossi's closed. Originally they were slated to re-open in April at their new location in the Northwood Plaza. Obviously, that didn't happen. I recently checked their facebook page and the most recent post said they are still looking for a new location. To me, that doesn't sound good for the restaurant's chances of re-opening.

I was checking in here to see if any of you locals have any additional insight.

Rossi's was/is a must visit restaurant for my wife and I anytime we are in Myrtle Beach. We are hoping that it is not permanently closed.

You my have already seen the link below, so you know as much as I do.

There as been a lot of competition among Italian restaurants here. You might want to try Malibu's in Surfside Beach

Emmy are you around for comment? Do you have suggestions for this string??

Sorry. don't have any info on Rossi's but can recommend some good Italian eats in MB.

Villa Romano is one of our faves! It's good Italian food the way Nonna used to make! You can't go wrong here! https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_ ... olina.html

Villa Tuscana in NMB is another we enjoy! Large portions and just really good tasty food! It won't disappoint!

As Patrish said Malibu in Surfside does have very good food BUT the amount of time you spend waiting is ridiculous. You wait for your order to be taken, wait for your food, wait for your check...Service was seriously lacking when we went. It could of been an off night but looking at some of their reviews it appears to be ongoing

Hope this helps a bit! Any questions please feel free to ask!

If you're looking for suggestions for Italian restaurants, I have two:

Villa Romana (a favorite of a lot of people here!)

Solè

I haven't eaten here in 2 years but it was a delicious meal, even if the service was slow. The quality and freshness of the dishes reminded me of Villa Romana.

We ate at Rossi's like 10 years ago and were not impressed. With it being so long ago I can't remember the reasons. I do remember we had a large party and the majority were not impressed. Of course lots can change in 10 years. Let us know if you give it a try.

Thanks for all of the replies! We will check on these suggestions, but we will still miss Rossi's. It was about more than just the food.

I obviously did not read your post. I though you were asking for Rossi reviews. Sorry one of your favorites closed
