Here's some information on each camping resort and campground, plus a link to their web sites. I hope you will find the best campground and best camping experience for you and your family in 2013, and that you will remember it for years to come!

Apache Family Campground - The oceanfront Apache Family Campground and Pier has hosted families on the Grand Strand for over 35 years. They see folks who camped here as children come back year after year with children and grandchildren of their own.

Briarcliffe RV Resort - Nestled in the heart of the Grand Strand in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Briarcliffe RV Resort has something for everyone! They offer clean accessible sites for RVers, and those needing a park model rental, including year-round events, and a full suite of modern amenities.  Briarcliffe RV Resort is a member resort with several camping clubs, including Coast to Coast

Cypress Camping Resort - Located on 34 acres on River Road, just and past Socastee Elementary and Socastee High School. This December, 2012, Cypress was announced winner of the Plan-It-Green award from the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds. The award, which recognizes properties that meet certain eco-friendly standards. Cypress shares the award with River’s End Campground and RV Park in Tybee Island, Ga. Kenneth Hucks, whose family owns the Cypress Camping Resort, is part owner of the Apache Family Campground off Kings Road, where he gave up his role as president in May to focus on the new campground.

Huntington Beach State Park - 2013 Information
Admission to Park: $5/adult; $3.25/ S.C. Senior; $3/youth age 6-15; Free for children 5 and younger.
Additional Admission to Atalaya : $2. per entry to the house for visitors ages 6 and up. Children 5 and under admitted free. This fee is in addition to the park entry fee, to help preserve and protect Atalaya.
Office Hours: 9am-4:30pm
Days and Hours of Operation: Sat-Th 6am-6pm; Fri 6am-8pm (hours are extended to 10pm daily during Daylight Savings Time) Atalaya Hours: 9am-5pm

From Murrells Inlet: Drive 3 mi. S. on Hwy 17. Park entrance is on the left.
From Georgetown: Drive 20 mi N on Hwy 17. park entrance is on the right.

Admissions: $5/adults; $3.25 SC Seniors;
$3/ child age 6-15; Free for children 5 and younger.Office Hours: M-Fr 8am-5pm; Sat-Sun 11 am-5pm
Days and Hours of Operation: Daily 6am-10pm, March through November
Daily 6am-8pm, December through February

From Myrtle Beach: Drive 3 mi S. of downtown Myrtle Beach on Hwy Business 17. Look for park sign on the left

Camping reservations requested LESS THAN three (3) days in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park. For example: If today is Wednesday and you are making a reservation for the upcoming Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.
