Port Royal
and Royal Harbor
The Naples Princess sails every day from Port-O-Call Marina near downtown Naples and adjacent to the Tin City Shopping area.
The Naples Princess ofers custom seating and wide-screen TVs.
While cruising Naples Bay we were able to view the spectacular homes of Port Royal and Royal Harbour. As you an see from the photo gallery we passed many breathtaking homes in what is called a "no bridge" area. Viewing these communities while onboard the Naples Princess made me think we had traveled to Shangri-La.
The panoramic landscape from the Naples Princess allowed us fantastic views of many miles of sandy beaches, big ticket boats, and of course the dazzling waterfromt homes in Port Royal and Royal Harbor.
TheĀ Naples Princess travels through the Bay, including entrance to the Gulf of Mexico, the Gordon Pass, the Douthernost pass in the U.S.
The Gordon Pass is the main access to the Gulf of Mexico, and also leads to Naples Bay, Marco Island, Ten Thousand Islands, the Gordon River and several other passes between Naples and Marco Island. Wwe were told that the Gordon Pass is protected, even if the Gulf gets rough.
I would advise eating either before or after boarding the Naples Princess as the lunch was not remarkable. Drinks were pricey, but probably in line with the Naples bar prices. They do charge for water, so you may want to slip a bottle of water in yoour tote.
The Naples Princess Cruise lastedabout an hour and a half. The staff was friendly and helpful and there is a comfortable seating area on the Nalples Princess, both on the main level and on the upper deck.
